I think we should move the chests to all be at the end of the bed, though.

[Link nods, and with that he'll start to shift things around as agreed upon, eventually coming to Kanda's chest which he has to lift up a little because the leg on one side had the bedsheet trapped under it.

The contents are jostled a little bit due to this, and before Link realizes what's happening, the chest starts...vibrating? There's something pinponging around inside, bouncing off the inner walls of the chest.

He puts the chest back down, and in a shocking display of lack of self preservation for this man, he opens the chest to peer inside to the tune of Kanda's golem flying out and smacking him in the face.]

[ Allen is seconds from trying to help Kanda with opening the door and getting him out, until suddenly ...????? Hello? Why is Link being accosted-

And basically the moment Kanda's golem pings into Link, Tim is on Link's head trying to eat it.

So it's going well. ]

[The literal second he sets that other nightstand down in the theoretical womens' bedroom is when he hears just. Chaos. And he has to wonder what the fuck is going on, like, he just fucking left he was JUST THERE. So Kanda rounds the corner, opens his mouth to say something, and then a little crying black golem flies right into his face.

[Link grumbles, rubbing the middle of his face where he got bonked.]

Allen reaches out to grab Tim, who chases the other golem down, and then starts rolling him around between his hands. ]

[Hi Link is no longer focused on the chests suddenly, standing upright with his expression turning serious the more Kanda talks.]

[Ugh. Kanda crosses his arms and, what else, leans in the doorway like he usually does.]

It's my fault. I dipped without saying anything, and Tiedoll said Central detained the two of them. Probably as accomplices, but more than likely as people who know too much. They were the only two who really knew what I was doing back at the Order to begin with.

[Link grits his teeth, hearing that.]

[Lvellie is. He would understand wanting to detain Johnny, considering, but Lenalee and Marie?]

[ With Apocryphos... "Cardinal" being part of Central, Allen is more worried about that then anything else. Apocryphos showed himself in town, which implies to some extent that he's chasing Allen down, but... but what if he had things in place to hurt Allen's friends? What if he put something together knowing full well that Allen wouldn't want anything to happen to them?

Especially if it were because of him.

Surely, Komui wouldn't let that happen... right? He had enough pull for them, right...?????

Allen is staring down, not saying anything as his mind reels enough he'd likely have smoke coming out of his ears if his brain really did run on gears. ]

I know they are. And I intended to put a stop to it while figuring out this Fourteenth shit and my own Falling. We don't have many able bodies left, and the only ones that are are hunting you down, Beansprout.

[The silence from Allen is deafening, and though Kanda's words should be reassuring, Link can already tell that Allen is...spiraling, just a little bit.

So, he'll walk carefully over and place a hand gently on his shoulder, to try to softly pull him out of his own head.]

Remember, time doesn't pass the same for them as it does for us. Even if they're being detained, you can take comfort knowing nothing more will happen in the interim. We can't do much for now, but...it's something.

[ Allen turns and heads back over to the chests. He still has that look of being fucking haunted on his face, but... decides just to swallow his feelings. As usual. ]

I'll finish moving these. The beds shouldn't be that heavy, considering...
